Artificial Intelligence(AI) based technologies like applicant tracking software and cloud computing, assist Human Resource Management(HRM) in various ways.AI is designing and building intelligent agents which receive prospects from the environment and take actions that affect the same environment (Russell, 2019).AI eliminate merit-based selections and streamline the workflow.AI assist Human Resource(HR) by managing onboarding, training, reporting, data administrating, performing, and integrating. Many small and large scale business are benefitted from AI technology.
Today AI is not limited to fulfil the above tasks.HR is adopting to get the aid of AI skills like chatbots, machine learning and natural language process for tasks like seeking virtual assistance for finding jobs, mentoring, receiving training and answering FAQ's(Frequently Asked Questions).
AI is reinventing HR
AI is radically changing our lives and most HR practitioners welcome the changes in HR, with AI technology. Few see AI integration as not practical. However, AI seems to reinvent HR and mentioned below are few points to say why.
- Confidence in providing information- Second annual AI work-study conducted by Oracle reveals 64% of worldwide employees trust and prefer to get advice from a robot rather than their managers. Most of the employees indicate robots are better at providing unbiased information, punctuality and managing the budget and many more(Oracle, 2019).
- High capacity of storage -More than a human memory AI can refer to a large amount of data and have the capability of storing them. It's easy to access when required.
- AI conversations-AI backed Chatbots provide more natural human-like conversation and it also addresses the specific conversations, recognises employee needs.
- voice recognition-Cogito, an American company use AI in-call voice analysis to enhance the behaviour of their call centre employees. It recognises the voice and provides guidelines to speak with more confidence, empathy, efficiency, professionally ..etc
- Mental state detections -CompanionMX use an app to detect the mental health of the employee and they say they can help in advance.
- Transitioning to agile learning-Agile learning models of AI provide broad-based solutions and support individual learning.
Conclusion
AI is definitely useful to mankind and future inventions will bring implemented skills to support human, but there's a doubt of replacing human with machines.Ford(2015) predicts, soon AI robots will take human place. Professor Park(2016) argues human have to do what AI cannot do to survive. Ingham (2014) states AI will take over all analytics in HR and HR is to understand how to use data potentially.

All in all, we can say for sure what awaits us in the future with AI taking over so many aspects of our lives including HR. In fact, it is much more present around us than we think. Perhaps it is time to embrace all these changes and look into the future with hope rather than with fear.

Yes Jinoda every new breakthrough or an invention have disadvantages as well as the advantages. But we need to take care of them and use the positive sides of the new invention to create a better world. Artificial intelligence has massive potential advantages which we can't ignore because of few disadvantages that can be managed.
